A Silly Wish?

Is it silly to hope?

Is it silly to dream?

Am I a fool for wishing?

A life change for the better

yet why do I still feel homesick for the things of old?

A dream thats been hidden away

When will I see the day it comes true?

Missing old times

Memories replaying through my head

Even though they weren't always good at lease it was something

I don't want to let go

yet I feel my wishes and dreams escaping

along with the wind

I'm sick of the players

and playing the game

Is it too much to ask?

To answer this one simple wish

You may think I'm silly for holding onto this childish dream

But I'm not going to loose my hope and faith

One day my dream will be answered

Hopefully one day soon...
